WARNING: GRAPHIC: Video of the Nice Terror Attack and its Aftermath

There is a view that showing this sort of thing is somehow wrong or disrespectful to the victims.

I strongly disagree.

You don't honor the victims by sanitizing what happened to them.

Or did you think that retweeting blue, white and red hearts was enough?

Everyone above a certain age should see these images. And after that, they should re-watch the videos of the jumpers on 9/11. And after that they should listen to the eyewitness reports of the Bataclan attack. Here's the testimony of the first responder:
The first thing we see it's all the bodies. All those bodies piled, one on top of another. It was a massacre. There were people who would crawl towards you, grab your shoe, get a hold of your shoe, and ask for help . . .
Then they should read the Koran, selections from the Hadith (the sayings and deeds of Muhammad) and the history of the Islamic conquests. They didn't have trucks, automatic rifles or explosives in the 7th and 8th centuries, but in general terms it all happened there first.

Islam isn't a religion of peace. It is a religion of horror.

And you honor the victims by fighting it.

This on-going tragedy will unfortunately continue until we recover from the blindness of Liberalism. In times past we could count on the Catholic Church to help us understand reality--but not now. We are witnessing the inevitable result of rejecting God. Until we embrace Him and His Truth the slaughter will continue.

  2. Thank you for showing this sad picture and the very graphic video, which I doubt will be shown here. The seconds brief interviews of witnesses seen on tv don't begin to convey the horror.

  3. Sorry everybody, but the world is not what it appears to be. We live in a world where 'reality' (ie through media/video) needs to be critically analyzed before blindly accepting.
